Provided executive-level administrative support to the Executive Director, Director, and Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of Indigenous-specific anti-racism and cultural safety initiatives.
Managed the Executive Director’s day-to-day operations, including inbox management, prioritizing and responding to emails, scheduling and coordinating a complex calendar, and preparing leadership for meetings and presentations.
Provided logistical and administrative support to internal and external facilitators, including respected Indigenous leaders and Knowledge Keepers, providing smooth delivery of programs, meetings, and cultural events.
Coordinated high-profile meetings and events - managing logistics, preparing agendas, taking minutes, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Co-led the planning and successful delivery of a virtual Indigenous Community of Practice with approximately 70 attendees, featuring multiple speakers, an Elder guest, breakout sessions, and prize distribution; organized and co-chaired committee meetings, documented proceedings, facilitated the post-event debrief, and delivered seamless live IT support in Microsoft Teams, demonstrating proficiency with breakout room management.
Assisted with the coordination of Indigenous Specific Anti-Racism (ISAR) training for PHSA leaders and staff, including tracking participant progress, maintaining attendance records, and organizing make-up sessions to ensure full completion of the learning journey.
Authored and distributed the monthly Indigenous Employee newsletter, highlighting internal supports, services, and community events for Indigenous staff across PHSA and BCEHS.
